{Letter #15} Long Time, No See...
Hello everybody!! I hope your past 3 weeks were fantastic! Despite my lack of emails, I am in fact still alive and doing well:) Here are some highlights:
-transfers (2 weeks ago haha)! I am staying here in the Lehi ward and am in a trio again!! My companions are Hermana Krummenacher and Hermana Stone and it's been great!!
-English classes. They're honestly super fun to teach and the days when we have them in person are sometimes the only time we leave the house so that's a plus too haha... We also had one of the people we teach English to come to church yesterday!!
-we got to be with our district in person for Thanksgiving!!
-today we decided to cut paper snowflakes while listening to Christmas music and it was just... the best!
Thought:
My mom sent me this quote this week and I wanted to share it because I think it's really important to remember:
"If you are striving to be a follower of Christ, then you can help others follow Him and you can be a leader….Your ability to lead does not come from an outgoing personality, motivational skills, or even a talent for public speaking. It comes from your commitment to follow Jesus Christ. It comes from your desire to be, in Abraham’s words, “a greater follower of righteousness.” If you can do that—even if you aren’t perfect at it, but you’re trying—then you are a leader.” Stephen Owen
We are not expected to be perfect. We are, however, expected to TRY. To continue forward even when we do inevitably make a mistake. Know that your efforts to follow the commandments and be more like Christ DO make a difference.
I hope you all have an awesome week!!
Love,
Hermana Goold

-this ward! We technically have 8 full-time missionaries, then a couple sets of service missionaries, and then so many incredible member missionaries. It's been so cool to witness all the miracles that come along with that!
-we were helping the companionship that lives with us make a video this week and they were like "I wish we had a chair to sit on" and our dear greenie Hermana Stone offered *jokingly* that someone could sit on her. She didn't think they actually would (see the attached picture).... it was sooo funny.
