Hello, happy Easter and happy Conference weekend everyone!! I hope you had a great week! SO much has happened the past couple weeks and I am the worst at emailing so here are just a few of the many highlights : -we put our friend Erika on date a couple weeks ago! It's been about 6 months teaching her and we're so excited!! -Temple Square!! We got to do a tour of Temple Square with our friend and her family!! It ended up being a really powerful and cool experience for her and us! 10/10   -a really good lesson with some of our other friends! -transfers!! The time has already come ๐Ÿ˜ง but... I'm staying here in Park Ridge (pt. 3)!! My new companion, Hermana Stapley is fresh out of the MTC! She's awesome!! In addition to our part of the Spanish ward, we're also now working with 3 of the English wards in the stake as well. You could say I'm sufficiently stressed trying to figure everything out but it's all so good :) - The Book of Mormon!! Obviously. My testimony ...

{Letter #17} Merry Christmas!

Hello everyone!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!๐ŸŽ„๐ŸŽ‰ I hope your day was amazing! This week has been awesome but absolutely insane. I don't have the time to write about it all, but I know I'd regret it if I didn't email you all! I hope that with all the gifts that we've unwrapped this Christmastime, we can remember the true gift of Christmas- our Savior Jesus Christ. I hope that we can continue to have the "spirit of Christmas" with us all the time. The spirit of service and love. The spirit that comes when we follow the example of Jesus Christ. I am so grateful for Him. A prince born into the humblest of circumstances who lived a life of love, healing, forgiveness, and complete selflessness. A Savior who suffered for our sins, died, and rose again. Again, merry Christmas!! Have a wonderful week!! Love you!! ❤Hermana Goold Here are some pics:  1. Some pain au chocolat/croissants I made for Christmas breakfast that I'm kind proud of๐Ÿ˜„ 2. My district at zone conference!!...

Happy Monday everyone!! I hope you all had a great week and are staying warm! Highlights: - Spanish . Yep. I'm not lying! For the first time in the five months I've been a missionary, I've been loving the Spanish!! It might be because I actually understand a passable amount of what people say (most of the time haha), but I am sooo grateful for the opportunity I have to be learning a language! - leaving messages ! Thanks to my companion for making me do them, I can officially get through them without any awkward pauses or laughing the whole time. Improvement!! -We had a few friends pick up this week who we haven't been able to talk to in a while and had some really good conversations (one from which the title of this email comes haha)... -my comps and I all got some Christmas decorations from our families so our apartment is looking so good!! We're also going to make gingerbread houses today and I'm super excited for that... - our little space heater ! The heat...

{Update #15-1/2} Some pictures and no letter

They've been having fun making decorations for the house... Emma informed us this week that apparently she receives more snail mail than any other person in the mission.  We were quite excited!   The little tree we sent her  and a homemade vase from Grandma Sandy.  A baptism!   Emma was asked to speak at this baptism.

{Letter #15} Long Time, No See...

Hello everybody!! I hope your past 3 weeks were fantastic! Despite my lack of emails, I am in fact still alive and doing well:) Here are some highlights: - transfers (2 weeks ago haha)! I am staying here in the Lehi ward and am in a trio again!! My companions are Hermana Krummenacher and Hermana Stone and it's been great!!  - this ward ! We technically have 8 full-time missionaries, then a couple sets of service missionaries, and then so many incredible member missionaries. It's been so cool to witness all the miracles that come along with that! -we were helping the companionship that lives with us make a video this week and they were like "I wish we had a chair to sit on" and our dear greenie Hermana Stone offered *jokingly* that someone could sit on her. She didn't think they actually would (see the attached picture).... it was sooo funny. - English classes . They're honestly super fun to teach and the days when we have them in person are sometimes the only...
