{Letter #27} The Power of Prayer

from June 7, 2021

Hellooo amazing people!! I don't have much to update on- we've been super busy, have biked a ton, have seen a lot of miracles, and are loving it here in West Jordan!!

I did have a super awesome study about prayer this week and I wanted to share a little quote with you from President Ballard:

"No matter where you live, what language you speak, or the challenges you face, God hears and answers you in His own way and in His own time. Because we are His children, we can approach Him to seek help, solace, and a renewed desire to make a positive difference in the world. Praying for justice, peace, the poor, and the sick is often not enough. After we kneel in prayer, we need to get up from our knees and do what we can to help—to help both ourselves and others."

God loves us so much! Being on the mission has only confirmed and strengthened my testimony of that. And He has a plan for each of us, gifts that He's given each of us to help us make a positive difference in the world. If you ever feel doubtful of that, just ask Him! I can promise you that He'll let you know the truth. He'll give you the opportunities you need to become who He wants you to become.

Love you all!! Have an amazing week!

Love,
Hermana Goold
