{Letter #13} Your Weekly Food Log

Happy monday friends!! I hope everyone is doing well!

Highlights:

-people picking up!! We had a couple people who had been taught by missionaries in the past who said they wanted to talk to us again! It was exciting:)

-birthday! The mission decided to give us an all-day p-day for my birthday. Just kidding. But it was a really good day. We got a trick or treater!! And we actually had candy to give them (thanks mom)! I've never felt so cool haha

-food hahaha. Because we are inside a lot and we can't eat with members right now, we have a lot of culinary creations going on. Everyone in our apartment takes turns making dinner and wow. Among others,, we had bomb fish tacos, a Dominican rice/sausage dish, and an insane veggie dish. We also got some sushi for a mid-week pick-me-up and Hermana Oldroyd made a very addictive pumpkin bread. It was a good week haha...

-baptism! It was a person that Hermana Long and Hermana Oldroyd taught a few months ago. I didn't even know him! But the spirit was so strong. The talks were powerful (and I actually understood them which was definitely a gift too), some other missionaries taught about the restoration because most of the people that came to the baptism weren't members, and an elder played a really powerful version of the baptism song on the piano and oh boy. It just made me so grateful to be here on a mission.

Thought:
I am running very low on time but I want to leave you with a quick scripture:

"I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."  Philippians 4:13

Christ is with you. He loves you. You got this. Have a wonderful week!!!

Love you all!!

<3 Hermana Goold
